Personal:  My name is Ben Bierscheid and I am a first year student and member of the baseball team at St. John’s University. I have not decided on a major, but I am exploring a career in finance or mathematics.  I graduated from Sartell High School in 2015 where I still hold the record for highest career batting average.  I live in Sartell with my dad, step-mom, younger sister, and two younger brothers. I enjoy camping, hunting and fishing, sports (baseball in particular), and spending time at the lake.  Baseball has been a part of my life ever since I was a kid. I have played on numerous different teams, including the 2015 Play Ball MN North All Stars and the St. Joseph Joe’s amateur baseball team. I am looking forward to meeting a lot of new life long friends as well as winning a championship at St. John’s.  I hope attending St. John’s and participating in athletics helps me improve my leadership skills and teaches me the importance of quality time management.
